ABOUT ME

I trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in Lighting and Sound Design then later on I studied documentary film-making at The Met Film School at Ealing Film Studios.

I've worked on various short films including 'The Devil's Footprints' a supernatural documentary for which I won an award for best edited short film and was an official selection for Latitude, Bestival, the London Documentary Film Festival, Weird Weekend Festival, Loch Ness Film Festival and the National Film Theatre.  More recently I was the DOP and colorist on the Just Stop Oil film  'Climate Criminals?' which was selected for the Human Impact Institute Creative Climate Awards. I also have made theatre trailers and teasers for theatre companies such as The Watermill Theatre in Newbury,  Rabble Theatre in Reading and the Change Festival in Wiltshire.

I also make local infomercials and video content for a very popular sustainable village community group.

Alongside my filmmaking, I am also a Production Manager for theatre, currently working with CTP at Fiery Angel and The Rose Theatre on the Olivier Award winning adaptation of 'The Boy At The Back Of The Class', the hit binaural horror show 'A Ghost In Your Ear' by Jamie Armitage at the Hampstead Theatre and I was the Technical & Production Manager for the hugely popular Watermill Theatre in Newbury (voted Theatre of the Year 2023 by The Stage) where I was one of the key team who delivered the multi-award winning musical revival of 'The Lord Of The Rings'.  I have also worked on various productions with the highly succesful physical theatre company Rhum And Clay.

I've also worked for 10 years for the New Work Department at The National Theatre as their Creative Technical Associate where we developed hundreds of new productions for the NT and other nationwide theatre organisations and creatives freelancers.  I also Production Managed various productions and special events for the NT.​  For more information on the National Theatre’s New Work Department please click here.

Before the NT, I also worked as the Technical Manager for Southampton's hugely popular Arts Centre, The Gantry where we not only received shows but worked closely on developing work for such theatre companies as Hull Truck, Red Shift, Trestle, Volcano, Forced Entertainment and Fecund Theatre. 

Prior to my work in theatre, I worked as a full-time Production Manager & Lighting Designer for the multi-award wining creative consultancy group Imagination Ltd. where I worked on many international roadshows, motorshows and special events.

I am also a member of the Association of Lighting Designers (Membership No: 2613), the Association of Sound Designers and BECTU.
